Mezlan main focus is quality and main direction is aggressive high-profile mens' fashion footwear. From television to music videos to recording artists, Mezlan footwear has been seen all over the world.
Amazon.com Product Description Make a bold first impression with the dashing Blackwell oxford from Mezlan. | Customer Reviews: WOW!!! These are MONEY! I'm afriad to wear them. ;8^) February 26, 2009 Eric Scott (San Francisco, California) First off, I have to say these are by far the NICEST pair of shoes I've ever had the pleasure of holding in my hands. They are so beautiful that I'm afraid to actually wear them less I scuff the soles or the uppers and mar their sheer aesthetic beauty.
I know you're thinking,"Is he kidding?" but I assure you I am not. If you really appreciate shoes, I promise these will not disappoint. I showed these to a number of people when I got them last week and they all agreed they were spectacular. I'm tempted to buy a pedestal and spotlight and just display them in my apartment along with the other art.
I purchased a pair of these in my size in Blue and they are everything I expected. The size is perfect. (I wear a size 11 in almost every other brand and these fit like a glove (a very comfortable glove that is), so don't worry about them being too big or small.) The eel and alligator uppers are gorgeous and you can tell by the fit, feel and weight of the shoe that these are some quality goods. The blue is a very dark navy and could easily pass as black in an evening setting.
In my opinion, they are worth every penny if you can afford them. (Not sure why the black ones are shown on Amazon as originally listed at $999 and sold by a third party seller for $549 when you can find them in the $500 dollar range elsewhere on the internet not discounted. Although to be honest, they could pass for a $1000 pair of shoes...)
What can I say, if you can find them in your size and price range snatch them up before they're all gone. Amazon has a few pairs on a deep discount and let me tell you, if they had the camel or black ones in my size for less than $200 I'd buy the both of them as well.
Go ahead, treat yourself. You deserve it.
Beautiful Shoe March 28, 2009 Wanny (Michigan) These are gorgeous! If you are blessed enough to get these for $169 on here in your size then do so NOW! The are definitely worth their full prices which is roughly $600.
I bought these in navy for my husband. The navy ones are indeed a very very dark blue. Just dark enough for a close eye to notice. Like all Mezlans (minus the lizard ones) they are absolute art. The craftmanship of this brand is unparalleled. My husband is in love with this shoe. He says they feel like butter on. The shoe is gorgeous on and the picture does not do it justice.
My husband went to get his haircut and a guy said "Those are at least $700 shoes!" Clearly, there's something to be said about this shoe...
